About Our Cakes

We specialize in luscious, custom-made cakes and cupcakes.  Each cake or cupcake is made from scratch and by hand. We use only the freshest ingredients possible. Nothing artificial, no preservatives.    

the chocolate tarte will work with you to design any cake, for any occasion – a wedding celebration, a birthday, a baby shower, a graduation, or dinner on a thursday evening!

We have listed our clients’ favorite cakes for you to choose from, or, if you prefer, you can build your cake yourself from our menu of  cakes, fillings, buttercreams and frostings.  the chocolate tarte also has a line of vegetarian/vegan cakes and cupcakes, and will be happy to prepare a birthday cake, wedding cake, or cupcakes for you.

If you look at our cake menu, and decide that you want your grandmother’s recipe for your cake, we will be happy to make a filling and buttercream to match!  Although we have a fine array of cakes, fillings, buttercreams, and toppings, we are more than happy to create one of your choosing.
